You know what it’s like to awaken from your blog hiatus to find that it went from being cold to sunny and the post you had planned to awaken from the hiatus with boldly screams, “it’s so cold” but technically it’s not, at least not on this side of the world?
(Damn! Did you even read read that as a question)

So you decide to post it anyway even though the sun is staring right at you and because you believe that good things(even the sun) come to an end. And to add to it, it’s June, it was meant to be cold! So in short, you convince yourself that the world will need this post, if not now, soon!

So heeeeeeeey!!!!

Two things I have found so essential when it is cold: boots and tons of layers.

BOOTS

Boots are timeless. Even though it rains once in a while, I’m assured that you will need your feet and legs covered even in those once in blue moon days.

LAYERS

You know the kind of people that show up to a girl’s hangout on a cold day looking as though they are about to make their way to the mountain top and all they are coming to do is bid you farewell? I won’t lie, I’m that type of person.
Layers range from short sweaters worn under longer sweaters with a scarf thrown over the two sweaters like I have done here or could have trench coats and warm hats, you name it!
